Impro Technologies Releases Full off-line Validation Mode on Door Controllers
With the introduction of Impro’s 2nd generation iTT & iTRT Door Controllers they have expanded on their already impressive feature set. Designed to interface with their state of the art IXP20, 220 and 400i Access Control Systems the 2nd Generation Door Controllers offer support for a multitude of proprietary and 3rd party RFID and Biometric Readers and RS485 or 100Mbps TCP/IP connectivity. Added to the system architecture options available in the Impro access solution the updated Door Controllers offer flexibility unmatched in the marketplace.
The strength of these units has been further bolstered with the addition of Full Off-line Validation Mode with no impact on the price competitiveness of the units. During on-line operation, the System Controller transfers certain decision making tables to the iTT or iTRT Door Controllers. When the Door Controller goes off-line from the System Controller the Door Controller can then make informed access decisions. Once the Door Controller comes back on-line, all transactions update to the System Controller.
